Saiba maisEnSI 2024, organized by Cert.Bahia on September 17, 2024, is a free event focused on cybersecurity, offering lectures, short courses, and competitions. During the event, scholarship holder Mayara Rodrigues presented the topic “DNS tunneling detection using the Zeek tool.” Her presentation covered the use of traffic monitoring tools like Zeek and IDS Suricata to detect cyberattacks. Mayara highlighted DNS tunneling, a malicious technique that exploits the DNS protocol, and presented detection techniques and results obtained from analyzing this type of attack.
The MISP Workshop is an event organized by CERT.br to promote the sharing of technical works and research by professionals working with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) in the context of MISP. In the fifth edition of the MISP Workshop, members of the HackInSDN GT presented preliminary results of the integration process of MISP with other architecture modules. The presentation highlighted integration with the MISP environment and strategies for automating data insertion.
